What I can buy with $49.24

117_0005

Two dozen eggs, one loaf of wheat bread, one bag of apples, a pork tenderloin, and a frozen chicken (Add one more frozen bird to the shot, I already had it put away in the garage deep freezer and I wasn’t going to pull out for a photo shoot)

Three bags of romaine (I don’t really eat lettuce, romaine is better!) two packs of tortilla’s, I’m going to try the whole wheat pasta (hoping the fiber is good for us) I got a few kinds.

Four cans of green beans, Three cans of whole potatoes (I slice and grill them) and a jar of pasta sauce (I know I need more to go with all my noodles)

And some chicken rice mixes, oatmeal, lots of cheese slices, a jar of cheese sauce, AND balonie (no idea how to spell, spell check gave me balance, balcony or alone as options)

So there you have it folks. I have to say this is one of my more exciting on the edge kinda posts, but I wanted to share what I can do with less then $50 and an Aldi food store!

Ooooohh...I love Aldi. What I love most is the lack of choice. Need cheese? There. That's the cheese you get. It's great for the minimalist shopper. And when they have a new item or brand...super exciting!

That is good. Are you doing coupons or just hitting really good sales? BTW Bologna

Thanks Kristin! Bolo-gna. Mental note. No coupons, too lazy for them. And when I am super mom and cut them out, I forget them.

No sales, Aldi is just SUPER cheep. I agree Suzie Que, very limited on choices. And I about crapped when I saw my favorite brand name pizza (usually $7 each) at Aldi for $4. Holy Pizza lottery!
