Day dreams

 

Sunshine, a 82 degree pool, and a raft. It’s the first time this summer that I actually took the afternoon off and went to the pool.

With NO children.

Spaghetti was in the house, kids were napping, instead of cleaning house I took an hour and 15 minute break, ALL for me.

I enjoyed sunning, and just day dreaming about the art, I day dream about the store I want to own with my mom.

I have the name picked out, and we will sell handmade things. Like fun jewelry (my bestie Aerial loves to create, and she can have a line of awesome button rings) and fun hair pieces.

My ugly dolls, and sew things from my mom. Paintings that I’ve done, and art supplies, some scrapbooking supplies, adhesives, and that’s just a few minutes of day dreams.

The second floor of the place will be the studio. Where there are no less then 10 big tables and comfy rolling chairs. Where everyone can create.

I think we will have classes, or open time for creating, maybe a kids class, and a painting class. AND since it’s upstairs I want a dumb waiter of sorts, to bring up all the supplies people bring with.

Out back there will be a garden (tended by my mom and I) and we will have tables for ladies to chat at. Coffee, and tea, maybe some cookies. I’m daydreaming of a balcony above for my own personal space outside.

Do you think it’s possible? In this economy? I believe it could be. And I would sell our stuff, and so many of my great friends make things and then we could sell their things too, like a etsy store in real life!

Day dreaming was wonderful. Hope to do it again soon.
