Blindsided update

For those of you who have been following my story on Spaghetti's Uncle T. and his absolute blindside of Cancer, if not go here for the story...

Long story short, after a long 9 days in Hospice, I was able to visit Uncle T. twice, he sadly passed away on Monday around 6:30pm. His family was all around him.

Damn you Cancer. Not fair. He was only 63. He had no idea his Melonomia had come back. It was hiding for 17 years. He was strong. But it was all over his kidneys, liver, and a 2 inch tumor in his brain, 1 1/2 inches in.

He went to the hospital thinking it was the flu, and with the migranes worried it was H1N1. That was 3 weeks ago.

Today is the wake. Tomorrow is the funeral.

My heart is filled with imense pain for his daugher, Cuz, and his son in law Banjo (seen above with Uncle T.) and Little T, his wife Sunshine, and their son. I can't imagine what Aunt N. is going through today. She has been on shut down the last week. Who wouldn't?

November is a sad month for me. My Gramma A (2006), my Grampa John (1998), and now Uncle T (2009) have passed away in November.

Well I have little Weaky dress clothes to go iron, and LOTS of Tylenol to take with me for that wonderful crying headache I will have for the next two days...

Rest in peace Uncle T. you were taken way too soon from us. I love you. And miss you.

Milwaukee Wisconsin Summerfest 2009

This was our first Summerfest in Milwaukee Wisconsin. It is the biggest music fest in the world. It was fun and I would love to go back again next year.

Our reason for going was that Banjo was playing with Kate and Kacey Koppola, if that names sounds familiar they came in 4th place in the CMT show "Can you duet"

There is the band and the girls. Now if you read here often, you may remember that Banjo (curly haired guy, playing the... banjo is in the Drew Davis Band, but he brought along his friends, on bass at the far left is Mo, and drummer Dave Kelly (shaved head now) all from the DDB)This was a fast show, only about 40 minutes, but we don't usually get to see Banjo on the banjo and the mandolin, his first love is his guitar.

The girls are fun, I bought there CD, "Kate & Kacey" they have some good songs, kinda feisty Dixie Chicks like. Afterwards we at chocolate, and lots o' pasta, and then climbed onto the Sky Glider! I haven't been on these since Santa's Village 1986 with my grammas!!
Kinda fuzzy at night, but Cuz and Banjo are in the car ahead of us, kinda neat with the moon and all the people below.

De-Christmas

Yeah. Your still up.

Only because I was busy with the kids.

And we had a dinner date with Cuz and Banjo.

So that pushed you to the back burner.

Be warned that I already took down the garland on the banister, and around the doors.

Your time will come big tree.

Your bag is awaiting you.

You and me have a hot date tomorrow.
