I passed Cranberry sauce through my nose

This story never gets old.. hope you enjoy... and piss your pants like I did...

As a joke, my brother Jay used to hang a pair of panty hose over his fireplace before Christmas. He said all he wanted was for Santa to fill them.

What they say about Santa checking the list twice must be true because every Christmas morning, although Jay's kids' stockings overflowed, his poor pantyhose hung sadly empty.

One year I decided to make his dream come true. I put on sunglasses and went in search of an inflatable love doll. They don't sell those things at Wal-Mart. I had to go to an adult bookstore downtown.

If you've never been in an X-rated store, don't go, you'll only confuse yourself. I was there an hour saying things like, 'What does this do?' 'You're kidding me!' 'Who would buy that?'

Finally, I made it to the inflatable doll section. I wanted to buy a standard, uncomplicated doll that could also substitute as a passenger in my truck so I could use the car pool lane during rush hour.

Finding what I wanted was difficult. 'Love Dolls' come in many different models. The top of the line, according to the side of the box, could do things I'd only seen in a book on animal husbandry. I settled for 'Lovable Louise.' She was at the bottom of the price scale.

To call Louise a 'doll' took a huge leap of imagination.

On Christmas Eve and with the help of an old bicycle pump, Louise came to life. My sister-in-law was in on the plan and let me in during the wee morning hours. Long after Santa had come and gone, I filled the dangling pantyhose with Louise's pliant legs and bottom. I also ate some cookies and drank what remained of a glass of milk on a nearby tray. I went home, and giggled for a couple of hours.

The next morning my brother called to say that Santa had been to his house and left a present that had made him VERY happy, but had left the dog confused. She would bark, start to walk away, then come back and bark some more.

We all agreed that Louise should remain in her pantyhose so the rest of the family could admire her when they came over for the traditional Christmas dinner.

My grandmother noticed Louise the moment she walked in the door..

'What the hell is that?' she asked.

My brother quickly explained, 'It's a doll.'

'Who would play with something like that?' Granny snapped.

I kept my mouth shut. '

Where are her clothes?' Granny continued.

'Boy, that turkey sure smells nice, Gran,' Jay said, to steer her into the dining room.

But Granny was relentless.

'Why doesn't she have any teeth?'

Again, I could have answered, but why would I?

It was Christmas and no one wanted to ride in the back of the ambulance saying, 'Hang on Granny, hang on!'

My grandfather, a delightful old man with poor eyesight, sidled up to me and said, 'Hey, who's the naked gal by the fireplace?' I told him she was Jay's friend. A few minutes later I noticed Grandpa by the mantel, talking to Louise. Not just talking, but actually flirting. It was then that we realized this might be Grandpa's last Christmas at home.

The dinner went well. We made the usual small talk about who had died, who was dying, and who should be killed, when suddenly Louise made a noise like my father in the bathroom in the morning. Then she lurched from the mantel, flew around the room twice, and fell in a heap in front of the sofa.

The cat screamed.

I passed cranberry sauce through my nose, and Grandpa ran across the room, fell to his knees, and began administering mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

My brother fell back over his chair and wet his pants.

Granny threw down her napkin, stomped out of the room, and sat in the car.

It was indeed a Christmas to treasure and remember. Later in my brother's garage, we conducted a thorough examination to decide the cause of Louise's collapse. We discovered that Louise had suffered from a hot ember to the back of her right thigh. Fortunately, thanks to a wonder drug called duct tape, we restored her to perfect health..

I can't wait until next Christmas.

I find happy in the joy of a pillow pet and a ball pit.

Here's my Merry...

One 20 month old who loves his new Cars ball pit...

And one 3 1/2 year old who is in LOVE with her Purple Hungry Hippo Pillow Pet!

Those are the two things that makes me the merriest, happiest, and the most proud. That I was able to find that gift that made my kids SO happy.

We didn't go to overboard, we know that even though they don't want to, Gramma and Grampa Mc, and Gigi and Papa and Aunt Susie will for us.

I was smart to remove ALL the toys from the from toy room, we can EASILY fill it with Christmas.

I am happy with what I got, the new Dan Brown book, The Lost Symbol from Spaghetti. I got him two gift cards. (iTunes and Cold Stone) Not alot, but when you are close to broke, I would rather give it to the kids.

If you know me you know I am not religious (no I don't want a debate on it) so the whole CHRISTmas thing is just a word to me. I say it to those I know like to hear it, and I say "Have a good Holiday" to everyone else.

Jesus is not the reason for my season, not even close. My kids, my husband, my parents, sister, and In Law's Mc are the reason. My best friend Aerial, and extended family. That is my reason. To remind everyone that we love them, and to buy presents because we care.

To take care of someone who is less fortunate, and to be a bit more kind to those around us. That is what Christmas is all about to me. If your reason is Jesus good for you. Just understand he is not my reason. (BTW the Queen got me a God book for moms. Really? What am I going to do with it? She knows where I stand on this. Not amused. Not. Amused.)

It doesn't make me a bad person. I'm not going to hell for it either. I have good morals, and a happy spirit about myself. So Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and to whatever you do or don't celebrate, may it be merry and safe.

And now it's late, I have had many days of celebrating this Holiday in a row (5 to be exact) so I am going to end this ramble on the note that I love the Pooh hoodie I am in from my the Queen and Carrots, and I LOVE the coffee pot that Frances got me. All set up and ready!

Good Night Blogger. Merry Whatever to you and yours.

Peace out.

From: The Queen of Feisty To: You

Merry Christmas to your family from the Mc's family. To all my Blogger family Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, whatever you celebrate, may it be happy, and with the ones you love most.

To my Angels above me, Gramma W. Gramma Alice, Grampa John, Uncle Jim and Aunt Karen, Spaghetti's Gramma Mc and Gramma Dorthy and to his Uncle T. Love and miss you all so much. It was a rough year, losing both Gramma Dorthy and Uncle T just this year. But maybe such a big loss taught us all to hold each other a bit closer.

I enjoyed the new traditions of listening to the "Night Before Christmas" (in the recordable Halmark book) by my mom the Queen. I gave Bagel the purple Tickey blanket she wanted me to make her. She opened it, ran around squeeling with it, then came over and gave me a kiss, and said "It's so sweet you made this for ME!"
(Weaky was already in bed)

Santa just finished putting out gifts, filling stockings, and is now off to bed. Good night to everyone, Merry Christmas!!

A bit about my day. A short story and more Christmas Eve rambling.

Oh my.

I have ALOT to do today.

I am on my own. Spaghetti has to work until 2:30.

People are coming at 4. 21 of them to be exact.

I just need to figure out where to keep the kids for the next 8 hours.

So they can destroy only one room.

Front room? I'm thinking a movie marathon until nap time.

Lots to do. Need coffee...

Need to focus...

Hope my back doesn't go out again. It did last night.

Fuck me.

Oh so I wanted to share a story with you (from my old blog) and yes it pertains to tonight...

A US man was in a critical but stable condition after suffering an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head at one of Cambodia's famous military shooting ranges, police said Thursday.

The 33 year old had fired seven bullets of a 10-shot round at one of the capital's most popular tourist attractions before apparently deliberately firing a single bullet through his own jaw, according to Interior Ministry penal police chief Mok Chito said'We do not know if he had a military background or what was in his mind,' Mok Chito said. 'He obviously brought a problem with him to Cambodia.'

The bullet exited through the back of his head and he was rushed to Calmette Hospital, where doctors reported he was likely to survive, but did not give further details of the damage sustained.

So what does a parent do, when there phone rings. And the caller id comes up... United States Embassy, Cambodia?

$40,000.00 is what it would cost you to move a fatally injured person by plane, with medical staff from a third world country to the nearest first world country. Which means Spaghetti's Aunt and Uncle just shelled out a SHIT LOAD of money to fly their son from Cambodia's dirty hospital to Taiwan's, I guess cleaner first world hospital.

Alright so that is the story as of May 2008. Fast forward to now. Cousin, we will call him Bitter because he is quite angry still. I am guessing I would be pretty pissed if I tried to off myself and woke up in a hospital.

So Bitter's status is he is wheel chair bound, and is working on walking again. I am told his face is fine, he just lost some of his moter skills. (how do you spell motor? motter? it just doesn't look right...)

Insane right? I mean a perfectly fit human and he goes and attempts to blow it all away, causing his family a SHIT load of money, and the grief. Anywho, the point of my story?

For the first time in 17 years Spaghetti's family will see him again.

So yes that means I have never met him.

Oh and this is all happening tonight. Here. Wheel chair and all. See I have empathy for people with diabilities, and things they can not help. But I am a bit less understanding when you did it yourself. And find a bit of sick humor in the fact that your still alive, no wonder your Bitter.

So wish me good luck, hoping to have a semi normal holiday today.

OMG! So I tots forgot about the rest.

THIS is my first Christmas Eve hosting. Right? SO it is because we lost Spaghetti's Gramma in February, Spghetti's Birthday to be exact. So Grampa doesn't want to host, it makes him super sad.

OH and Ed's uncle T that just passed away? Same little family.

SO I will have a house full of semi depressed people who are all trying to find the Merry in this Holiday, and add in one weird reunion.

WISH ME LUCK!!

(Can't wait for tomorrow! Spaghetti will be home and we can enjoy Christmas with the 4 of us. AND then I am totally stoked it's off to my parents house! No drama, just us with Queen, Carrots and Frances! Hooray!!)

Merry Christmas Eve everyone. From my little corner of the Blogosphere to yours.

Random coffee induced post...

Random is a good word for this hot mess I am about to type. Got lots to say. None of it really post worthy material. Enjoy...

  • I made bad ass good coffee this morning. If you care to know I drink Starbucks Espresso Blend coffee every morning.
  • Why is my "save now" over on the far right?
  • Why is it that I have to poop every time I get a chance to blog? Could be the coffee...
  • I am still in love with the SD card reader. It has SAVED my blogging life.
  • I am SO in love with staying home today. It's 3 degrees out. But feels like -17.
  • So I switched over to the newer blogger. Umm... where the new post page is. But I don't have spell check? That is a problem. Until then I am not responsible for any spelling errors.
  • The Save Now is getting weird. It is saving every 10 seconds.
  • I still have to poop... farted... now I can focus better...
  • Is it me or does everyone else sing the Mickey Mouse "Hot Dog Dance" in there head all day?
  • I can't wait till Sunday. We are leaving for Wisconsin Dells! Staying at the Kalahari indoor waterpark. It's fucking bad ass. It's been 5 years and 3 weeks since we last stayed. I can't wait to see what the kids think.
  • I made my FIL his 50 damn handmade Christmas Cards, they are awesome. Now need to finish mine! I have 18 of my 35 done. Just waiting for their Stickles glitter to dry! I will post a picture soon.
  • BRB...
  • Alright, finally gave in to pooping. To much farting for me, sharfing in your own home is not cool.
  • Then Bagel needed me to get her a different doll house from the 3 degree attic. (she has many doll and toy houses, BUT in my defense only one is from Christmas, the rest are garage sale toys, and most are from when I was a kid)
  • Weaky is happy. He gets the WHOLE front toy room, and the Mickey Movie ALL to himself. Bagel is at the age where she likes to go in her room, away from her brother. And that means Blog time for mommy!
  • I am hosting Christmas Eve, and I have LOTS to pick up around the house. (like boxes of crap to go through, that have been cleaned from a room, and I just put them in the loft. There are some in the kitchen, and basement t.v. room. Just pure I don't wanna, and a bit of Where do I put it?)
  • Bagel is less irratating to me. The 3.5 version is WAY more fun then the whiney 2.5 to 3 yr old version was. Plus I do think I am out of my postpartum funk, and seem to scream less. Glad that they won't remember that.
  • Bagel just said to me I am going poopy on the potty. And then she asked Do you wanted to smell it? I said No thanks. She responded with If you say so.
  • I can't wait for Christmas with the kids. I should do a post on what they are getting. I know you can't wait right?
  • I think I'm done rambling for now. Gots me some laundry to do, and kids to attend to. Miss me!

The Cabbage Patch Kid

This folks is MY Cabbage Patch Kid.

If  I need to explain this to you are either to young to get it, or you have lived in a box, under a bed your whole life.

This damn Purple Hungry Hippo Pillow Pet is the reason for me to stress for 24 hours, when Bagel had insisted for MONTHS that Santa bring her this. Not the Lady Bug, or the Penguin, or the Pig, but she NEEDED the Purple Hippo. Needed it.

Now as a mommy to a 3.5 year old, I am excited that my kid finally is big enough to be sucked into the world of comercials and infomercials (the comercial for the Pillowpets is on every hour on the hour if you watch the Sprout channel) makes my job that  much easier. Or so I thought. Kids pick out toys, I go get toys, wrap them up, give all credit to fat ass guy called Santa.

For months we have gone to the website they promote on tv, and she picks out the Purple Hippo each time, also telling me Weaky wants the Friendly Green Frog. Sure. Fine. Put it off, put it off, go on the site, put it off. Fast forward to Tuesday of this week.

I hop onto the ol' computer and type in pillow pets dot com, site is up, all 20 or so different pillow pets are there, you click on the one you want and... what?!? Sold out?!?!?!? No... well how about the lady bug... sold out too... umm... Green Frog... sold out... S.H.I.T.

I bow my head, and realize I officially fucked up as Santa and it's my first official request fromt he children. Hmmm... so I do what any other crazy mother would do... I go get more coffee... chug it, then I google Pillow Pets.

Ebay, Amazon, Craigs List... they are all over! Hooray!! But wait... what's the starting bid?! $99? And that was for the horse? The Bumble Bee is $199??! Holy shitting price rape! But wait someone has a bundle of three for $350!! FuuuUUUUuuuucckkkk me!!!

We are talking about a $20 stuffed animal that you unvelcro his tummy and then the animal turns to a... wait for it... pillow pet!!

So in my desperate attempt to find a Purple Hippo, and not break the bank, I go to Facebook, and post my plee there. I had a friends tell me good luck, one friend in Arizona said she would see if any little shops had them there, and one friend said to go to pillow pets dot com, she was headed over to the site to buy a bunch for her nephews. I thought, silly nieve girl. Your screwed too.

I responded telling her the bad news, that we were both screwed for Christmas. She said, no not that site, she said to try their sister site (who the fuck has a sister site?!) at MY pillow pets dot com. Note the MY in the site name. Let me tell you they DO NOT advertise that site on the comercial. Asshats.

I go, already telling myself that I am still SOL. And that I will be getting my kid some half assed stuffed animal, or attempting to make one and it looks like this...

(this really is a ugly sock monster I made Weaky for his 1st birthday. He LOVES it)

But to my merry surprise! There are Purples Hippos in stock! Oh hail the holy credit card, I wisked it out, and ordered my Purple Hippo and a Green Friendly Frog!!

Well folks let me tell you, my lesson has been learned, I am a procrastinator by all means a professional one at that. But not for the request of a Christmas present for a kid ever again! (don't take my word on that, I do think as a professional procrastinator it is my duty to say things like that, come back next year to see what the new panic attack will be and what horrible toy causes it)

De-Christmas

Yeah. Your still up.
Only because I was busy with the kids.
And we had a dinner date with Cuz and Banjo.
So that pushed you to the back burner.
Be warned that I already took down the garland on the banister, and around the doors.
Your time will come big tree.
Your bag is awaiting you.
You and me have a hot date tomorrow.
It's de-Christmas time.

Christmas eve schedule.

Merry Christmas Eve to you all!

Run down of the next two days schedule...

6:20 am Spaghetti home from night job.

7:15 am I am up, can't sleep, busy day. Enjoy coffee and magazine for 1/2 hour BY. MYSELF.

7:45 am Weaky is up, change him, tummy time, take pictures of him, get all his clothes laid our for tonight. Take him down to the kitchen for breakfast,
I fill one of these funny mesh sacks with peaches, banana chunks, carrots, whatever, he loves it. (Be sure to have a bib read) It makes a lazy busy mom, feed her 8 month old and still run amuck through the kitchen.

Go downstairs to get the dogs out of there kennels, go to the dryer hoping there is something for Spaghetti to wear to work. Nothing says "I love you" more then clean underwear.

Go back upstairs, let the dogs out, feed them, go get Bagel.

Change her but, and bring her back down to the kitchen, joining her brother for a self feeding party. She chose Chocolate cereal (coco puffs) the kid will eat like 3 bowls of that stuff.

Kids happy. Check.

Now to make Spaghetti omelets, to go for work.

8:52 am Back upstairs to iron Spaghetti's clothes, 8 minutes before Spaghetti's alarm...

Clothes ironed. Spaghetti is away, I am out the door to run and pick up a last minute gift for Weaky's godparents, Halmark is down the street, I only have 20 minutes (drive time, and gift choosing) I have to get back so Spaghetti can go to work (I didn't want to have to haul the kids)

I get there. I freak. Can't do a picture album, that was there gift for the Baptism... shit... brain freeze... I need help... MOMMY!

Of coarse after freakishly rambling calmly telling my mom what I need. She says the perfect gift.

An ornament for the new home! Genius, I turn around, and magically the ornament display is right there. And they have a key with 2008 New Home on it. Perfect.

Grab a few things for my MIL who is having her knee replaced Monday, some Pixies and Mullen spice for some yummy cidar while cooped up.

A magazine for Spaghetti (men's health) and some ***** to finish off some presents for my family tomorrow.

All in 18 minutes I was back home, to shoe Spaghetti out the door, and breathe.

That was my morning. Thanks again to my super mom.

So this afternoon, I have been wrapping (the above gifts) still finishing the final touches on my mom and dads and sisters for tomorrow. All with Bagels help. Weaky is down for a nap now, and I am drinking my reheated coffee, and happy blogging.

I am very excited that my gifts this year were more... well not a lot of money was spent, well some, but there are alot of gifts for not so much money. Plus some were made and those are my favorites!

I hope my sister appreciates her present. It's huge! I will tell you all later (hi Frances!)

I have just a few hours, to get everything ready. When Spaghetti gets off work at 4 or sooner, we are heading out to his grammas house, for Christmas Eve, with 20+ of his family members, a White Elephant gift exchange, also know as the Yankee swap, the Barona Gift exchange or as I like... the Selfish Santa Game. Call it what you want, I still have little or no clue as to what I am bringing... shit...

I still have to...
Get myself dressed. Oh probably find something somewhat festive that will fit my fat ass to fit in with all of Spaghetti's skinny as cousins.

Do my hair, and face paint make-up.

Iron Spaghetti's shirt to change into.

Dress Bagel, and Weaky (both have outfits ready to go) pack p.j.s for both.

Be creative and find White Elephant gift, wrap, and put in car.

Triple check that we have the "Santa suit" for Grampa Mc to wear. (deep shit with out it. Like go back the hour you drove here, and go get it, deep shit)

Bring walker for Gramma Mc to have, for her knee surgery.

Bring Grampa Mc's gift that we stole when packing up our mother load of loot the other night.

Remember camera (I forgot last year)

AND, since we will be out late, I need to also get the house together, so we can celebrate Christmas morning here tomorrow under our tree.

Get all the presents together, because soon after our Christmas at home, we will be off to my mom and dad's. (Spaghetti again has to work from noon till 4 tomorrow) so after he is off work he will come out to my parents.

Did you get all that? Funny I have a list coming out my ass and I am still blogging! Saves my sanity.

SO Happy, Merry, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah to you all. Be safe. Muah!

Feisty

Hope you all enjoyed my Christmas funny, close to a day with my family, but I can not claim this as my own. My dear friend Pimpster of Mudd sent it to me via email. Tee Hee Hee. I peed my pants. No really I did. Hope you do too!

Christmas Trivia

Chandler over at yours and my favorite blog, Maternal Mirth. Sent me these fun questions.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper. My mom used to be the manager of a gift wrapping department store back, back in the day. Only gift bags if they are all matchy with there tissue paper, and ribbon.

2. Real tree or Artificial? Fizz-ake! My parents did a real tree once. Lame, and we had to water the damn thing ALL the time, because the 4 cats kept drinking all the water!

3. When do you put up the tree? Black Friday. Keeps me busy, and away from all the tards out shopping. (sorry to offend you if you are a tard and go shopping on Black Friday)

4. When do you take the tree down? Sometime after New Years, I think my latest to date was a few days before Valentines Day.

5. Do you like eggnog? Never had it.

6. Favorite gift received as a child? Hmmm... just one? Maybe a few...
My jungle Lego set from Gramma Wanda (the last set she bought me, before she passed away)
The 15" t.v. and VCR combo when I was in H.S. (still have it! It's in our bedroom!)
The O' Jenny set. I remember stalking my mom, to stalk Toys-r-us for that one.

7. Hardest person to buy for?
My dad! All he ever wants is a gift card for Menard's. Hello! Not fun. And I feel lame!

8. Easiest person to buy for? Bagel, and Spike!

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yep. With the little explorer I need not put it up for a while. Mary was decapitated once, and that was because my sister shoved me into the Nativity scene. (Nice, I know, but I probably deserved it)

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Hello! I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! All handmade cards here!!

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? The Barometer clock from my ass hole Uncle William.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" the one with Jim Carey

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? A little bit each month starting in Aug-Sept so we don't get the HUGE credit card bill come January.

14. Favorite Holiday scent? Hands down, no questions asked. Holiday Wreath, or any pine smell for that matter.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? The Carrot family home made Ravioli's

16. Lights on the tree clear or colored? White.

17. Favorite Christmas song? Old ones by the Carpenders. Love them. Oh and my Christmas remix CD.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home for the morning, then headed out to my parents house for the day.

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? No.

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? It's a white, wooden bone, with a small halo and the name "Haley" painted on it. Haley was our first dog, who died suddenly of Parvo Virus only days after we got her. So she is our Angel. (but without the loss of Hay Hay, I would have my Ding)

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas Eve is with Spaghetti's parents, and Christmas Day is us here at home, then my parents and sister.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? To fucking cold. Damn it hurts to just be outside. Like the makes your eyes water just looking at the garage door. It's so cold.

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? Ornament theme for us, is all the ones Spaghetti and I had as kids, or made. And the ones that we have for the kids. I love the Halmark ones too.

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Mashed potatoes!!!

25. What do you want for Christmas this year?
Susie to talk again.
To enjoy my Scrapbooking retreat weekend with my friends.
To enjoy my family.

Awww, I should be in bed, but I am just loving this mindless trivia. Well of to sleepy land! Nighty night!

Is it over yet?

No really, are the festivities over yet? Because Spaghetti and I are done. Yes, stick a fork in me done. We have been on the go since last Monday. Weather you want it or not, here is a breakdown of our Holiday week and where I disappeared to...

Monday
Spaghetti's family was in town from Nashville, we had 11 over for pizza take out and visiting.

Tuesday
Drag both monkey children out to shop at Babies-r-us and Target for Baptism clothes (Baptism on Sunday)

Wednesday
Stare at the wall, sleep to much of the day away. I was not serious when I told Spaghetti that he should take the kids and run away, and I would do all the house work uninterrupted. (well maybe the first part I was serious about...) He did, and his parents kept the kids over night. I cleaned house non-stop for 5.5 hours.

Thursday (Turkey Day)
Got up, kid free. Made stuffing (4 boxes) drove to my mom's house. Enjoyed a nice, long, happy, Thanksgiving with my family. And Spaghetti's parents and Grandparents were there too!

Friday
CLEANED HOUSE. I mean cleaned, cleaned the house. Bedrooms, basement, you name it...

Saturday
Woke up. Cleaned house some more. Afternoon, went to a nice, looong, far away Christmas party about an hour and a half away (north) came home at 10:30, put children's to bed. Cleaned house, decorated the tree. Up till 3 am.

Sunday
Baptism Day. Church at 11 am, Baptisms right after at noon, party at my crib, 1:30, last guest (Aerial) to leave 8:30 pm.

Monday
Wake up early, get kids ready, off to the Dr. for Spikes weight check (he's tiny!) and the other 1/2 of the flu shot (Thymerisol free (spelled wrong?)) then back home for drop off. My parents were here to watch the kids. Spaghetti and I had a hot date with the dentist for filling to get filled. I just spent 5 hours with a numb fucking face. Oh and the cavity was so bad, that I will probably get a crown next year.(sigh, well at least my tooth can be white again, and not so damn silvery) Now I am in between putting little people to bed. Then I just may go pass out in my bath tub.

I am proud to say I am going NO where until I drop my children off at my IL's on Friday and pick them up on Sunday. I am cropping all day, yes all day, from 9 am till midnight on Saturday.

I am spent!!

Birthday for Blood (Twilight spoiler!)

So I finished the "Twilight" book, I just got the first one. I wanted to try it out. Ugg! I should have bought all 4 right there! Then in December there is another book that will cross reference and go into more detail! I can't wait!
Oh and I must add, I went to Hot Topic and saw they have a TON of Twilight shirts, of coarse I am on Team Edward, and on the back it says "What if I'm not the hero? What if I'm the bad guy?" LOVE.IT! So I emailed it to the Queen hoping maybe Frances can get me that for Christmas! (in Large please!) (and those of you who know me, know why I LOVE this shirt!!)

So there is an epilogue of the second book in Twilight, I can't believe they left off at Bella's birthday blood bath! What happen with Jasper and his lack for will power? Will Edward be able to resist? What about Alice (oh I love her!! Too cute!) I am dying here! Seriously thinking about packing up the kids and heading out to Barnes and Noble... not kidding. Must.have.books...

Citrus. Coffee. and Christmas

Since the last post was so heavy and a bit aggressive. I have to say I am having a wonderful morning. I slept. I got up and took a bath (I never get to do this!!) I used Happy as my bath soap, and it was all citrusy and good wake up smells!

I set up the new coffee pot last night. Gramma Mc just celebrated her 20 years at her job, and was able to pick from a catalog of stuff. So she let Spaghetti choose, and he chose a nice fancy pants, coffee, espresso, and cappachino maker! Yeeha! I am very excited, since we have been coffee nuts every since Spike was born, I do believe I have had a cup a day. Keeps me up, going and gets a good poop out of me too (whatever, don't lie. Your happy coffee makes you poop too)

I also had an extraordinary date with myself yesterday. It took SO much for me not to pick up my cell and yap. I considered, Aerial, Queen, M&M... but I needed to force myself to take some me time.

I got lost in Target, found an AWESOME clearance Christmas present for Bagel. The Tigger and Pooh, Super Sleuth tree! Oh, I had to open it, check it out (small parts, and make sure it all worked) so now here is a tip. I started this last year. I open her toys, put them together, put them back in the box, wrap it. So then on Christmas, all she has to do is open the present, I pull out the pre-put together toy and wala! We are all happy!

Then I got lost in Barnes and Noble! Yipiee! After my Worm Meme the other day, I had to do this. I read magazines, started a book (later post) and drank... Starbucks! Wee!

So not only did I get Christmas, done, I got some Birthday done for my mama (oh you think you know...) It was a nice day to myself. I really had a hard time with out having someone along with me... well in a few hours I am off to get the children's, then I will have my babies back! I missed them so!!

Have a citrusy day!
