2 years, 7 months, 1 week, 6 days, 19 hours, 26 minutes

That is how long I have had the joy of enjoying you in my world, my Bagel. Your everyday imagination is just endless, from the invisible "birdie" and "dragonfly's" that are constantly flying around the house, and landing in our food. To the laps you run around your dad's pool table (you will run about 8 times around, full speed!)
I never want to halter your creativity, your love for these green boots from Queen, your sleeper, and your cloth Halloween bucket for a hat (you were so proud of this outfit!)
The day I taught you finger painting, you fell in love. And I love the thought that you love to get messy and do art like mommy.

You have made quite a few masterpieces already!!

Every time we have gone to the mall playground, you have been to small to climb into the boat by yourself. Until this cold day in December 2008, you finally do it...

As you proudly sat in the boat! (You were originally wearing your Dora fancy nightgown over this outfit, thank goodness you realized it was making it hard for you to climb...)

Bagel. I love you. I still have yet to remember when I said you could grow up. Or when you could be so independent. Right now you have your own mind, and you SO speak it when you want to!
Yesterday you made me cry happy tears. While at breakfast, I was staring at you all creepy like looking at you with adoration, you looked at me, smiled and for the first time on your own, not a response, but a feeling of your own...
You said "I love you"
Words I have been dying to hear from you since you tore through my vajaja came into this world, you have said it before, many times. But always because you heard it first, but never just cuz, and sitting at the table over breakfast.
You are SO strong spirited, you yell, pout and when you get angry you quickly have learned what a "time out" is. So far kicking Ding because she sniffed your shoe, and kicking Dong, because she was just standing there, and the best one was for biting my ass, because you were pretending to be a doggie. That was 2 minutes each (one minute for each year you've been on this planet)
They are hard for me, thank god I have the will power to hold in most giggling, all while your father is giggling in the next room.
The crazy thing is I can have conversations with you. I ask, you answer. We can discuss the days events, and I love that. I do miss my baby, that was needy and always wanted me to hold her. I think that is why I hold Weaky just a bit more, knowing that too soon he will be busy and can't be held.
Your growing up my Bella Princess. I am trying to hold on to each second I can.
Love you,
Feisty Mommy

This made me cry. That is real mommy love. I find it starnge that I love my kids the most when they are doing strange things (like biting mt butt). I hope that on day your daughter can read this an know she is loved unconditionally.
