Pool Side

Ah the pool.


We got our pool at the end of last summer. By the time we got it, and figured out the chemicals, and the water warmed up, we only had a few weeks to enjoy it.


So believe me when I tell you we have been in it for weeks already! Funny thing is, we finally have a nice spring, of all 70 degree days, and all we wanted was 90 degree days to heat up our pool!

And as of today it's still pretty cool, about 1/2 down is around 80 degrees, and the bottom of the pool is about 72! Chilly! If you get it moving, it all works out ok.


Today, yesterday and the day before I attempted to get in! Either with just Spaghetti, or just me and the kids. This morning was a little over an hour, of myself, Bagel and Weaky while Spaghetti was out watching "The Taking of Pelham 123" with his grampa.


I love the pool, and the new deck umbrella. I can't wait till we can afford the rest of the deck material, to have the deck up to the pool!

(right now we have a big 14x16 deck made of that recycled decking material. LOVE that stuff, pricey but SO worth it!)


I am very grateful to have a pool, and our deck, and now the umbrella (got it yesterday) is a BIG help too. It really makes the yard a whole add on for something to do this summer, and it's free!!
