Happy.

IMG_0717

We are happy.

We are in a place where we really share everything. We TALK out everything. We don’t disregard the others idea’s. We compromise on disagreements. And we have learned to love what we have, vs what we don’t have.

We wanted to take the kids somewhere fun. I’m dying to take them to Disney on Ice, they have Toy Story 3. Looked up prices and HOLY car payment… just can’t do it right now.

The other day Spaghetti was off work, and we wanted to do something fun. We googled, and searched. Asked around on Facebook.

At the rate we are with money, even a simple day at the Children’s Museum is too much. ($8 a person! Adults too! That is retarded, since we don’t do anything! So yes $32 is too much for all of us to go.

The local jump zone is $6 JUST for the kids AND Alex would still be free (2 and under)… but they were closed to the public. Figures.

So we spent the day playing in the snow in our front yard. Just as fun, and as close to home as you could get. It makes us sad we can’t go out and do things with out our parents paying for it.

But right now with our budget, it’s not fitting in. Hoping next year will be better. So Spaghetti and I are happy to realize that together we can make happy no matter what the budget, as long as the four of us are together.

I am glad that yo are in a good place. May it continue! Sometimes the best family moments are the once just playing outside. When I pay for something I force the boys to enjoy every part of it and we all end up miserable. So happy that things are looking up.

The four of you playing outside together is ten times better than a children's museum! That day is a memory that the kids will carry around forever, not jumping around in an inflatable.

You guys are awesome. :)
