My jaw hurts. My throat hurts, and some Bliss for me

I am excited to say even though I had a shitastical night with the kids, and I woke up with my jaw still in pain from the dentist (I will explain) and a sore throat that is comparable to eating pine cones.

Oh so before I get to the exciting part, I must tell you about my dentist appointment. Sigh, I have been bad. And in return I have 5 cavities. I must say having back to back kids, kept me away from my normal 6 month cleanings, I knew I had a cavity in the back left, but avoided the dentist. Shame shame.

So this cavity, is ginormous, to the point where the Novocaine lasted from noon that day till 6:30 pm, and my mouth is still sore from where he did all the work. It's a big bad cavity, that will probably require a crown next year, good news is I will have a porcelain colored tooth and not the silver grill I sport now.

I just called the dentist, and they said I could be sore for up to two weeks. Thank god I horded all the 800 mg Motrin from having the kids!

So besides the fact that I feel like someone jacked me in the mouth, and my throat stings, and I had a bitter night with my children...

I am dropping them off at Gramma and Grampa Mc's for a well deserved weekend to myself. I do this once a month or so. I drop them off Friday around 2, and I go get them on Sunday afternoon.

Bliss.

Whatever do I do? I have no plans for today (besides Target for a tent bed) and nothing for Sunday. But tomorrow I am going early to a scrapbook crop from 9am till midnight. I am going with my mom, friends Pipe, and Patti, and Aerial will be by later after work.

Just some me time. And I SO need it after these past few days. Well it could always be worse, I know I will have harder days, this was just one of them.

Dentist appointments for all bloggers!

This is WAY to weird!! So I read Aerial's blog post about the dentist, then I went to my Iowa friends blog, and saw that she too had her dentist appointment. ok so my point is, I then started to wonder when my and Spaghetti's 6 month cleaning was. He had one the month Spike was born, and this would be 6 months later... a half hour later the phone rang, and it was the dentist calling to remind us in 2 weeks we had our cleanings!! To weird!! Clean teeth for all!!

I asked the receptionist, when to start bringing in the monkey children for cleaning and she said around 3 years. Bagel has been brushing her teeth for almost 16 months now. Started on her 1st birthday. So when did you start bringing your kids in to get there teeth cleaned?
