It's about time

Wonderful news. I wanted to post this weeks ago, but it wasn't for sure. And I didn't want to jinx it.

So Spaghetti's job burnt down. Well the pavilion part of the casino. The actually Casino is fine. well Spaghetti is the eye in the sky. And there job is the most important. They babysit everyone else. Even after all this mess, his department was back to work the next day.

Due to the fire, there was less need for bodies at work. So instead of 4 surveillance a shift, there are 2. Spaghetti gets paid for 5 days a week, his 40 hours, but only works three. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights. (10pm-6am)

Another perk outside of the extra days off, Spaghetti's tool of a boss was fired. Thank. god. already. Spaghetti ALWAYS got shafted, and that guy hated Spaghetti! So much that when Spaghetti had the seniority to have his day shift, with weekends off. The tool boss, decided that one of the other employees was not getting along with the night supervisor. SO that guy was moved to day shift. Getting Spaghetti's weekends too. And moved Spaghetti to Nights with Sunday Monday's off.

That was 4 years 6 months 3 weeks 1 day and 10 hours ago(were not really counting. Just a guesstimate) Which leads us to now. Now that tool boss is gone. Magic happens! As of June 1st Spaghetti will be back on day shift. He will get Thursday Friday off. And I do believe for a while the days off will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday!

AAAANNND... they went to HR as a department, and Spaghetti got a $2 an hour raise!! See. One tool boss all gone. ALL better for Spaghetti.

This means he can work Wrigley night games, possibly concerts with his dad and then where ever the video store falls in after that. It's all good. So there is good news.

Congrats my Spaghetti. I have missed you keeping the other half of my bed warm. It's been a long 4 years 6 months 3 weeks...
