Sunrise

I loved the way the clouds each had bits of sunshine on them, but still a dark side too. I loved how there were SO many clouds up there. I don’t normally see the sunrise.

My bedroom is on the west side of the house, and I am usually still in bed at this time. But that New Years resolution of routine is finally here. Well part of it. My sink is gross, my coffee is left over from yesterday, and I am doing some lame attempt at getting my laundry in order.

BUT going to bed at or before 10 is what IS working. It also keeps ups from snacking late. I will let you know on Sunday night, and Monday night (Spaghetti’s Friday and Saturday) if we followed through or were up super late and ate bad foods!

I’m also enjoying blogging this early! I don’t have screaming kids around, it’s pure silence right now, it’s almost maddening! As much as I have this free time, the whole hour of silence, I could start dishes, or laundry, but I’m just enjoying the sun start to cover the dried grass in the front yard, and watch the Robins (yes Robins!) poke around for worms!

It’s a wonderful morning and I hope it stays this way. I hope I get more mornings like this. Where I sit on my big couch, in the corner, with my water, my laptop on the end table.

Feisty

ps. did you guys read anywhere about the font ‘Comic Sans’ and how people are ‘over it’ I found it amusing because that is STILL my favorite font. Easy to read, bold and still not as boring as Ariel! Just wondering…

Do you see what I see?

Wanna see what I see? This is the view from my bedroom window, my street curves, and I live on the back, or the outside of a culdisac (sp?). So I have a weird view, and I can see SO many neighbors from my house. Also probably due to the fact that our subdivision is less then 10 years old, so we have NO mature trees, and a few random trees around. Gives you a pretty good view.


So starting on my left... you can see the far side of my yard, top of the pool, Elania's yard, nice family yard, big dog people yard, big family with clothes line yard on the corner. Then if you scan over to the bluish house (right above the yellow slide) that is Cheryls house, one of my Stampin' Up! customer's son lives there. Kinda weird, they talk on the phone, stand on my deck and wave to each other!

Straight out back is my yard, pool, swing set (from my parents house, came with there new house a few years ago. My dad moved it here) behind us is Lisa and Brant and there 3 or 4 kids. There sweet black lab, Lady, who never gets the attention she deserves. We used to drool over the fact that they had a pool, and had fun in it ALL summer. Mine's not as big, but it still is MY pool!

Oh you can also see the no fence house, Amber is the wife, (just moved in last summer) they have a small dog that Dong loves to bark at.

And next door is Chris and Sara. They uncle is my parents close friends and neighbors. Bizarre. That shed (they didn't build) is a barn. Bambi put it up. Bambi is my retarded old neighbor who was a lazy, dirty woman who thank god moved away after just being gross for 3 years. Chris and Sara are in the process of de-Bambi-ing the place.

So they are tearing down the crazy yard she let over grow. Bad news is Chris works ALOT, so he will start a project... and leave the big dead bush pile to attract a zillion birds and rabbits. For the winter (rabbits don't survive well with my two right along the fence.

I have a story, I will share later. Let's just say new baby rabbits are dumb, and I had 6 dead rabbits turned inside out due to them crossing to my yard)

Anywho, hope you enjoyed to view. It's mine, the snow is here, I know some of you wankers are thinking spring already. Shit it's only February. We have at LEAST 2 more months of this crap. For now I can just plan my garden in my head. I think if you click on the pictures it will expand them, you can be all crazy and just study my neighborhood. You know you wanna... I should do it again in the summer when everyone is outside...
