Subject change.
I must blog about our weather. It was insane today. It has been cold as of late. Mean cold. Snowy. Dark and gloomy.
But not yesterday. Not today.
Yesterday was 45 degrees. Nice, still need a coat, but nice.
Today was easily... 60 or higher. That is insane!! The snow is gone, EVERYONE was outside today, almost a crime not to be. I saw neighbors washing cars, cleaning garages, I took the kids for a walk to the park in our subdivision, and there was a whole slew of kids playing football.
The cats sat in the windows sucking up air like they haven't breathed in months! The dogs just sprawled across the deck sucking up the warm sun!
Oh it was amazing, like we fast forwarded to spring!! Loved it.
BUT WAIT!! Don't get excited, don't bust out the flip flops and Bermuda's just yet my Midwestern friends... the snow, ice, and freezing temperatures will be back.
The hats, gloves, scarves, coats, and boots. It will all still be needed for another 2 or 3 months. We here are not guaranteed nice weather till AT least May. Maybe end of April if your really optimistic.
But for now, we will relish in the beautiful day we had. Maybe it was sent here by the newest Angel added to heaven. If so, thanks Gramma M. we needed that.
