Day 4 of lockdown

Good morning.

I have to say if I didn't retardedly go out in the snowstorm last Tuesday, then it would have been 6 days of lock down. I just needed some sticky tape (no I really needed it for my Christmas cards, it has to hold down the glitter... whatever) from the local scrapbook store, only a 10 minute drive, but in the storm it took me about 30 minutes (not counting car cleaning off time) and I only swerved and lost control twice! (no kids with me Spaghetti was home)

And now we have the ice storm from Thursday night, still coating every possible surface. I know it is WAY snowier, and icier in other places, but this is my story damn it. So we have 5" of snow and 1" of sheer solid ice.

Which comes to you had better had gone out prior to the storms to get what you need, but those ditches on the sides of the road are just calling your name. SO I have been home.

As always, but Bagel HATES the snow, and won't go play in it. Ding and Dong are Boxers, so the are sensitive to extreme weather conditions (aka. sissies) so they are in all day too.

It just gets to be a bit redundant at times. I had dreams last night of making breakfast, lunch and dinner for everyone. That is what I do. Feed. Clean. Feed. Clean. Blog. Twitter. Clean. Stare at wall. Play. Feed...

I love being able to stay home, don't get me wrong, but it's just GREY outside, no sun for 3 days now, I can only use my inner sunshine for so long! But I hear it's supposed to be sunny and 25 on Christmas! 4 days till sunshine!

Either way, I may escape with the little people today. Spaghetti borrowed his dad's Santa suit, and will be playing the roll of Santa at the Video Store today. Time for the mom-a-razzi to step in! That ought to bring out some inner sunshine in me. That and the liter of coffee I will drink today.
