Bagel's new bed, or lack there of

I have realized that Bagel likes to sleep anywhere but her bed. Always on the floor, depending on the mood. Most of the time it is right behind her bedroom door.

Now for the longest time, this would enrage me. Yes that is a strong word, but I was just furious that she couldn't just sleep in her bed. She has a nice bed, not to high, the box with the drawers underneath, and a book case behind.

So after months of Bagel leaving her bed, minutes after I put her in it, and curling up behind her door, I should explain, her room is a regular squarish size room, 14x16 pretty big for a tot. But the doorway, is kinda at an angle... no not on a angle... um... ok, like if you were to walk in straight you have about 3 feet, and then there is a wall. You have to turn to go into her room, and there is kinda a mini hall to her room. She love to sleep there. So I caved.

Funny thing is I hated, and I still do hate, sleeping in a wide open space. Unless my head is covered. So she doesn't like to sleep in the big room, but in the little space. Hmmm... lot like her mommy. I tried looking at Target for one of those tent beds, but I can only find the most gigantious tents for her room. I need to find her one, or the Cabbage Patch doll one I had as a kid, I know my mom gave it to me... maybe the attic?

Either way, after realizing today, after months, that she is doing just what I would do. I set her up with her big fat comfy new comforter that Aunt Frances got her for her Baptism, and her big fat feather pillow, with flannel cover. ALL the babies should could find, and of coarse her Glow Worm right next to her.

It's hard for me I have to be SO QUIET Because her door, and our door, share a corner. So Spaghetti and I are in discussion as to where we are moving Bagels bed, and where can we find a tent bed. Until then, camp Bagel will be set up in the corner!

And as she says to me each night "Snug, as a bug, in a rug, Mommy" then lots of whispering about how much she loves me, and that I am beautiful, but before I run for the nearest mommy pageant, I am told that "Daddy, and Spike, and Ding, and Dong, and Thing 1, and Thing 2, and Bagel are all so pretty too. OH and so is Gow worm, and Sara (my old Cabbage Patch doll) and Jammer, and Bert, and Ernie" thanks kid...
