Legs pushing.
Determined.
To run for that ball.
To be the first one there.
Giving it your all.
The energy. The spirit in you.
The amazement of how far you can kick the ball.
All over a Barbie ball.
You get to the ball. You beat Aunt Frances,
Spaghetti, Feisty,
and Carrots to the ball.
Full speed ahead you kick the ball.
After a fun time playing with the ball.
Your pooped.
You stretch out in the leaves.
And smile for mommy.

my kiddos will play endlessly with the ball outside...now, if i can just figure out how to let them play with it in the snow. hmmmm....
