I lost the battle of the Scrapbook weekend. I posted before on my Scrappbooking weekend vent. Well they emailed me last night and told me that the other group is getting the weekend. And we were free to look else where.
Now I am way more forgiving then the others in my group, and some of them have already laid into the girls for this mixup. Not to say I didn't share my feelings of disappointment, but I am moving on, and looking for somewhere new.
So now we are throwing around ideas on where to stay, it is V-Day weekend and here in the Midwest the weather is not so friendly, so the one I am rooting for is 4 1/2 hours south east, and some don't want to travel if there is bad weather. I have no problem driving in shitastical weather. You just suck it up and 4 1/2 hours becomes 6 hours.
Our other choices are $100 more, or to scrap at a regular hotel (Boring) I want to be pampered, and just move in for 3 days. We will see, I am waiting on the other girls to give me there ideas.
Remind me again why I am "Julie Cruise Director" because this is way to much fucking fun.

what about going to Grand Bear Lodge? Its not far, you could do a cabin and then take a break to the indoor water park or go to Starve Rock? Just an idea!
